10 "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:" - Isaiah 46:10

From Omega Frequency: Episode 1 (47:55):

The scriptures are unique and inspired. God, with complete accuracy, has the ability to look into the future and predict things that have yet to come to pass. God did not inspire His Word to confuse people. He included the prophetic passages to help us understand that He had a plan for the ages. He did not want us living in darkness without a light.

Just as a loving father spends his time teaching and preparing his child to move out and go into the real world, our Heavenly Father wants to equip us and to prepare us for what is to come. There is a generation that will see the return of Jesus and that prophecy is written unto them to give us direction.
